The Medicaid billing add-on

Prepare 837P claims from your attendance records for 1% per claim, with validation and payer management built in.

The Medicaid billing add-on turns the attendance record your staff already build into prepared 837P claims. It is optional, priced per claim, and designed so the service record and the claim can never drift apart.

What the add-on does

With the add-on enabled, Adult Day Genie prepares 837P professional claims from your attendance records, manages your payers, and runs validation checks before a claim goes out. It replaces the spreadsheet-and-clearinghouse shuffle with a workflow that starts from the same record a reviewer would see.

From attendance to claim

  1. Staff record attendance during the day — face or manual check-in, with check-out.
  2. Billing staff review the billable days for the period and the payer for each member.
  3. The add-on assembles 837P claims from those attendance records.
  4. Validation flags problems before submission, so fixes happen on your desk, not in a rejection cycle.

Because claims are generated from the append-only attendance history, a billed day always traces back to a recorded visit.

Validation and payer management

Keep each payer's details current in the billing settings — identifiers, plan information, and the members attached to each payer. Validation checks claims against what your payers expect and flags missing or inconsistent information before submission. Payer rules are state- and plan-specific, so the add-on surfaces them rather than hiding them: your billing staff always see what is being submitted and why.

What it costs

The billing add-on costs 1% per claim — one percent of the claim's billed amount, added to your monthly plan. There is no separate module fee, no setup fee, and no long-term contract. Full pricing is published on the pricing page.

What stays your responsibility

Software prepares claims; it does not decide them. No tool can promise that a claim will be paid or that an audit will end a particular way.
  • Verifying member eligibility and authorization under your payers' rules.
  • Confirming the services billed match the services delivered.
  • Final review before submission, and responses to payer questions.

Quick answers

How much does the Medicaid billing add-on cost?
The billing add-on is 1% per claim — of the claim’s billed amount — on top of your monthly plan. There is no separate module fee and no long-term contract.
Does the add-on guarantee claims are paid?
No software can promise a payment or audit outcome. The add-on prepares 837P claims from your attendance records and runs validation checks before submission, but payers decide claims under their own rules.
